Just like any other year Apple will be launching a new iPhone series which will be iPhone 14. Though all what is known is mostly through leaks and rumours, as Apple has not officially said much about this phone but there is going to be another massive upgrade from the last generation iPhone.
The iPhone 13 lineup was not much of a big jump than the previous iPhone 12 lineup but it wasn't bad either and had improvements in performance, camera, battery but still had the notch design(though smaller) and the price also increased from iPhone 12(65K INR) to iPhone 13(75K INR).
The iPhone is rumoured to launch this fall but the actual release date still remains a mystery. Apple may not launch any iPhone 14 mini and will replace it with iPhone 14 Max. But there are going to be many new improvements Apple will doing with the iPhone.
Launch and Price
We might be seeing the iPhone 14 lineup after the month of September to October this year. The iPhone 14(128GB) will come at the price of around 80K-90K INR and iPhone 14 Pro would cost 120K-135K INR. This is not the official price as nothing about the price is known yet.
Design
The iPhone 14 is expected to come with the same flat edged design like iPhone 13 and other rumours say that the volume buttons would be round in same and phone would have a bigger camera bump.
We are expecting to see the same display size(6.1 inch) and Bezels just like how they were in iPhone 13. Apple this time might be getting a rid of the notch and use a punch hole with a pill-shaped cut-out in the front.
The iPhone 14 might be using a high-end Titanium alloy design which is used in Apple Watch and is more stronger and scratch resistant than Aluminium alloy. Apple might be using vapour chamber technology which keeps mobile phone cooler when under heavy stress and it is used in many mobiles made by other companies. Apple has also said to be working and testing on this technology.
We will see a Lightening port on this phone for wired charging and also get wire-less charging option in this.
Display
The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display used in the iPhone 13 will likely be used again in iPhone 14. The 6.1-inch OLED display will come with a 460ppi pixel density.
Rumours say that iPhone 14 might come with Pro-motion displays with refresh rates upto 120 Hz but it we definitely won't see the Pro-motion display in iPhone 14.
Camera
The iPhone 14 will be coming with dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with the support of 8K video recording. One wide lens and other ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel lens for the selfie camera in which Apple might shift to a ultra-wide lens. Though the overall camera quality for iPhone 14 may not be a gaint jump compared to the camera of iPhone 13.
We also might be seeing a 48-megapixel lens in the Pro-version which would be a huge jump from the camera of iPhone 13 Pro. Overall, most leap in camera section would be seen in the higher-end segment of the iPhone 14.
Specifications
Leaks say that 6GB RAM would be used in all 'iPhone 14' and the latest A16 bionic chip would only be used in the iPhone 14 Pro and for iPhone 14, we will be seeing the previous Apple A15 Bionic chip which is not a new thing for Apple as in older iPhones the previous chips were reused.
The storage variants will range from 128GB to 1TB, just like the iPhone 13 lineup and we will see a boost in battery performance and size like all other generations, though the exact battery size is not known.
