Ryzen 7 4700G Review
Is this eight core ZEN 2 APU worth the price?
Well, there is great improvement in these ZEN 2 APUs from the previous ZEN+ APUs which is mostly of increase in number of cores, threads, CPU and iGPU frequencies with the biggest difference of newer microarchitecture and AMD's 7nm process.

The Ryzen 7 4700G is based on the ZEN 2 microarchitecture and processed on the 7nm Lithography process. It comes with 8 ZEN2 cores with SMT enabled with upto 4.5 GHz Boost Frequency. It has 8 MB shared L3 cache and TDP ranging 45 - 65W with 65W TDP. It supports upto 8 PCIe 3.0 lanes.
This APU supports AM4 socket and 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. It comes with Radeon Vega 8 graphics which has 8 Graphics cores and 2100 MHz Base Clock Frequency.
From desktop side the Ryzen 5 3400G is incomparable to this 8 core APU but the mobile Ryzen 7 4800H is somewhat comparable to this APU with lower frequencies, TDP and weaker graphics, still the desktop Ryzen 7 4700G is greater among all these APUs.
