The Core i3 10100 in 2022, Still a Good processor for 10K INR?

 The Core i3 10100 was launched by Intel on early February 2020 for 10000 Indian Rupees. At that time it was a complete waste of money as you could find a $ Ryzen 3 3300X  for 13K INR which was more powerful than this CPU and the  Ryzen 3 3100 at same price also performed equal to this CPU plus both Ryzen CPUs were unlocked too.

But now due to the big change in the prices, the Core i3 10100 can be found for only 10K INR where as the cheapest Ryzen 3 third gen CPU is around 13-14K INR. Also the H410 motherboard for the i3 is cheaper than the cheapest B450 motherboard for Ryzen 3, this makes the i3 10100 a great choice for gaming and productivity under a budget.

It comes with 4 cores and HT and has a Turbo Boost Frequency of 4.30 GHz. It is a locked processor. It is based on the 10th generation Comet Lake microarchitecture and processed on 14nm process. It has 65W TDP and 6MB L3 cache. It supports LGA1200 socket. It supports upto 16 PCI 3.0 lanes and 128GB 2666MHz memory in dual channel.

It comes with an integrated Graphics like most of Intel's CPUs and the iGPU is the UHD 630 graphics with Base Clock of 350 MHz and Dynamic Graphics Clock of 1.1 GHz, it supports upto 4K resolution at 60Hz.

It is a great choice for anyone under 10K INR. This CPU performs very similar (a little bit better) to Ryzen 3 3100 in gaming. It can handle even a RTX 2060 SUPER easily at 1080p resolution and can stream too. This CPU does a great job in productivity tasks as well as in gaming. You can stream while gaming or render high quality videos easily with it.

This CPU is pretty good but nowadays you can get a Core i3 10105F at 7K only which provides better performance without an integrated graphics.
