So now that Nvidia launched the new Geforce RTX 3000 series Graphics card, more and more leaks of the new RTX 3000 GPUs are coming day by day. Nvidia first launched the Geforce RTX 3080 on September 17, Geforce RTX 3090 on 24th September and Geforce RTX 3070 on October 28th.
Just like always Nvidia is planning to launch the lower-end RTX 3000 GPUs and their Ti and maybe Super variants too in the near future. It was said that the Ti variants of Geforce RTX 3070 and 3080 will launch soon but it was again delayed. Again the leaks of the upcoming Geforce RTX 3080 are here and also these leaks are not official so they might be false.
According to these leaks the new card will be based on the companies GA102 architecture. The card will perform between the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090.
The RTX 3080 Ti will be having about 10,496 CUDA cores which are very similar to the flagship RTX 3090. The card will have a 320W TGP. Most importantly, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will come with 20GB of GDDR6X VRAM. The card is said to have a 320-bit bus interface and a bandwidth of 760GB/s. The Base Clock and Boost Clock Frequencies of this card are unknown but according to me the Boost Clock would be around 2000 MHz.
The card would have no support to Nvidia's NVLink. This GPU will cost less than RTX 3090 and will perform significantly more than RTX 3080. The new card will be a powerhouse with 34 TFLOPs of power.
The greatest improvement in this would be the 20GB GDDR6X Memory as the 10 GB GDDR6X Memory in RTX 3080 is bottleneck factor in AAA titles at Ultra 4K settings and AMD's new Radeon 6000 series GPUs will also come with 16GB Memory, So this is important for Nvidia to increase the VRAM.
There are no launch date and prices confirmed but as always the Ti of xx80 cards come around 8-12 months later (as of the case of GTX 900, GTX 1000, RTX 2000 series GPUs). Also it is said that the launch date of RTX 3060 Ti will be revealed on 2nd December so this GPU will be announced after that. This card might be launched in the early 2021.
And in case of pricing, the card will be cheaper than the RTX 3090 and expensive than the RTX 3080 so the card will cost from $800 to $1000. The price may be less as of the Radeon 6900XT (performing equal to RTX 3090) will cost $999. Nvidia will be required to decrease the price and increase the performance so that it can easily beat AMD GPUs but according to me it will be around $999.
