AMD Radeon RX 580 | Specs, Price, Performance with benchmarks

The Radeon RX 580 was launched in April, 2017 for around $200, now $160 (which has been decreasing day by day) was the most powerful Radeon 500 series GPU until the launch of Radeon RX 590.

The Radeon RX 580 is based on the AMD's Polaris 20 XT processor and fabricated on 14nm process. The Polaris 20 XT processor has 5.7 Billion transistors. It comes at a Base Frequency of 1257 MHz and can be Overclocked upto 1340 MHz (the gaming OC variant would have higher clocks).

The Radeon RX 580 has 2304 stream processors/Cuda cores of AMD, 144 Texture Units, 36 Compute units and 32 ROPs. The GPU has both 4 GB and 8 GB of GDDR5 memory Type with memory interface of 256-bits. The memory speed is 8 GB/s and maximum memory bandwidth is of 256 GB/s.

You need a 8 pin power connector for this Graphics Card. AMD has announced that it requires 185 W power and atleast a 450W PSU is recommended. It supports the PCIe 3.0 and has 16 PCIe lanes.

It do not supports VGA port and supports upto 4K60 on HDMI. It has 1 HDMI port and 3 Display Ports.

This GPU scored 60+ FPS in every game so, if you want to game at high Frame this would be a great option for you even in 2020. It can score 60+ FPS in ultra settings in most of the games and if you are a e-sports gamer than don't worry it will even play all your E-sports titles at high FPS, along the 8GB VRAM is enough for the next few years.
