Geforce GTX 1060 6 GB is a mid range budget GPU which was launched by Nvidia in July 2016 for $299. Back in the day it was considered as one of the best mid-range GPU which provided good performance for its price.
The GTX 1060 has 2 variants - one with 3GB VRAM and other with 6GB. It is from the Geforce 1000 Series GPU based on Pascal microarchitecture and fabricated on 16nm Lithography process. The GP106-400-A1 variant of the card has 4.4 Billion Transistors and 1280 Cuda cores.

It has 80 Texture mapping Units and 48 ROPs. It has Base Clock of 1506 MHz which can be overclocked upto 1708 MHz. All variants of Geforce GTX 1060 comes with GDDR5 memory type and 192-bit memory interface. It also has the memory bandwidth of 192 GB/s
The GTX 1060 is a dual-slot card so it draws power from 1x 6-pin power connector with power draw rated at 120 W maximum, thus the minimum system power draw is 400 W. For display outputs it has - 1x DVI, 1x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort. The GPU is connected to the system using a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface.
It can support 7680x4320@60Hz or 8K@60Hz maximum on the display. It's current price for 6 GB variant is around $200 today.
The results shown in the graph are given by the Geforce GTX 1060 6GB@1700 MHz when paired with a Ryzen 5 3600@4.2 GHz and dual channel 16 GB 3200 MHz Memory. Also, the games are played on 1080p ultra settings.
The Geforce GTX 1060 6GB performed pretty well in all the games except Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 as it is extremely GPU demanding game which is very hard for every GPU to run but it scored 60+ Average FPS in all games. Yes, it is still very good GPU for playing games at 1080p medium-ultra settings.
